Dear Madam,

I am writing to apply for the position of English language teacher at Cengic Vila I primary school. I myself was a student at your school and I am familiar with your work as the principal and the working conditions and efficiency of the school, which is why I decided to apply for the job. I believe your school has much to offer, namely, it has excellent teachers who establish good rapport with students, favorable working conditions, well established relations with parents, all of which results in outstanding student achievement and achievements of the school as an institution. I received excellent education in the school and gained long-term knowledge, which helped me in my personal growth and further education. All the above prompted me to apply for the job and get the opportunity to teach in Your school and thus be a part of this well-functioning system.

I consider myself to be an excellent teacher for various reasons. Firstly, I love children, and I love teaching, which I believe to be the requisites for the job. One cannot be good at teaching if one does not love children, both on their good and bad behaviour. Teaching is quite extraordinary and different from other professions. Therefore, I believe a teacher must love their job, otherwise they might be unfair to students or unsuccessful in passing on the necessary knowledge, which can create serious consequences that can reflect later in students’ lives. Thus, my love for teaching gives me an advantage for this job. I am also good at transferring knowledge and explaining all aspects of language; syntax, semantics, morphology and phonology. My knowledge in these fields of language is excellent and I am consistent in grammar, spelling and pronunciation. In teaching I use various teaching methods, in order to satisfy the needs of all students, because every student has different individual needs which should all be met. Using the latest methods and approaches, I try to include various activities in class, thus making it as interesting and motivating as possible. I understand children psychology and try to apply it in my class and encourage students to find their own learning style. I am constantly improving my teaching skills by following the latest research, sharing experiences with other teachers and asking my students for feedback. In working with students, I am patient and lenient, but I am also good at establishing discipline and deciding when to take the disciplinary measures, depending on the situation.

In my free time, I am quite active and enjoy the outdoor life very much. I love nature and natural life, and I am concerned about the conservation of our planet, which I try to teach my students. I always find time to spend with friends and family, because I believe those are the true values in life and I try to pass them on to my students. When I was ypunger, I was successful in many sports including gymnastics and basketball, which is reflected in my work ethic and passion about new challenges.
